@Tomboy Chick Ha, ha! You’re right. I doubt there are more than 2 or 3 videos where the tail is at rest. Maru might wag it even when he’s asleep.
@Garry Forbes I can only recall one occasion where Maru is laying on his back in a deep sleep, tail completely still. He, nor tail, move when a playing Hana shoots past, almost touching him.
@Tomboy Chick One of the comments today was that Maru is wagging his tail because he’s annoyed. I disagree. Maru wags his tail because he’s breathing. Maru is absolutely unique. I’ve never seen a cat wag his tail as much or react as strongly to catnip. Not to mention how obsessed Maru is with boxes.

I love your videos and love Maru and Hana even more but I think you’re petting them wrong. Cats don’t like it when you go in the opposite direction and ruffle their fur, it annoying to them. Jusy pet or brush in one direction with the grain of the fur. Going opposite creates static, is annoying and makes their fur all spikey and messy looking.

so sweet!! both maru and hana enjoyed it.but for tail you may need a different brush which fits and trims.I loved the way maru is sleeping and getting brushed in the end like a baby getting oil massage done😍😚😘😘😘😘.feel like lifting him up and pampering him😘😘😘😘😘
