And in the Edo era, the fifth Shogun ; Tunayoshi were a big dog person, and banned to kill any dogs.. Dogs were protected more than people by a Shogun…
And protecting dogs and cats became one of Japanese cultures now…
But unlike Chinese and Koreans who eat dogs and cats, Japanese tend to eat anything from the ocean…
That is a sad thing for me…
