How can Maru be so calm – my cats freak when the vacuum comes on – ofcourse doesn’t happen very often.

My cat was my excuse (to myself, mostly) not to vacuum. Now that’s she’s gone, my excuse (again, to myself) is it reminds me too much of her. Am I lazy? That’s way too literal but, probably! 😘

I love how Maru is no ordinary cat! Anything a cat is normally afraid of (like vacuums and showers) he’s pretty ok with lol. Not to mention all the amazing and silly things he can do 🙂

OMG, that was hilarious. I thought Maru was never going to move so that the rug could be cleaned. When he tolerated the vacuum being used on him I was in disbelief. Every time Maru gets on the swing I cannot control my laughter.

We used to vacuum Elliot (in the picture) after he’d be rolling in the dirt. At first, he was frightened, but then we started doing it while he ate, and he learned to enjoy it lol.

My aunt once had a cat follow her home from a bus stop. He sat crying on the porch until she let him in . . . she named him Buddy. I gave him his full name of Buddy Q. Stepsetter. He was not at all an active cat, but he got to where he followed you around if you were vacuuming and demand you vacuum him with the hose. He loved it. She and my uncle got him to do exercise by making him follow them through the house to get his body vacuumed.
