I hope mugumogu got her shoe back. Here in America raccoons can be annoying enough — their front paws are almost as dextrous as a monkey’s — but I’ve never had one steal things like shoes. Usually they just go through your garbage for tasty morsels. They’re not actually all that much like tanuki except in their markings.
don’t worry she didn’t lose her shoe if you look carefully at the end of the video the monkey dropped it by the fence before climbing over it.
