those little guys arent very old, at the beginning of the vid you can see the adult macaque in the top left corner, walking at the top of the fence.
although cute, they can easily injure/kill a cat sized pet and seriously injure adult humans. I’m glad Maru was inside.

While other cats around the world have to settle for watching birds or squirrels or chipmunks through windows, Maru can spy on and try to supervise some monkeys. I note he didn’t try to talk to them (or ambient sound wasn’t recorded). I thought he would turn around and report, “Human, those little people took your shoe. If you had let me out, I would have taught them a lesson!”
