Since Maru is older than Hana, I would take the assumption he probably got used to them coming every now and then.
Also, he’s looking at the camera as if to say, “You see this, don’t you? They’re here again and it seems that they are stealing.”
And, when they leave, “Hmm, well, that was entertaining. Certainly a high point.”
He sized the thieves with a long hard stare.
