Maru doesn’t like it at all fisrt, then awkwardly walks over it anyway and clearly thinks it’s uncomfortable… and then walks back onto it anyway. 🙂

Maru is very smart.
maru Has the ability to detect crisis.
Maru is much more analytical than Hana, I’ve noticed. It almost like differences in human beings.
It’s not that Maru is unsure, its because the softness tickles his feet with each step – “Ooh! Eeeh! Ooh! Ahh! It tickles!”

The cat who’ll try just about anything is freaked out by a soft fluffy floor. He seemed to kinda like it in the end, though.
Maru MASTERED that squishy floor! Oh, he was so cute being so careful, eyes focused. He’s the man.🤗
Hana: “Hmm, this is new. Is it stable? Yes! I will go about my normal day.”
Maru: “Hmm, this is new. How does it work? It seems to just be a cushion here. I will check the rest carefully. Boring. The whole thing is just cushion. No moving parts, no passageways, no treats. I will find an interesting box.
Maru sometime later: “Maybe I missed something. I will go back and check.”
Maru’s a thinker. He notices something out of the ordinary and takes his time to work it out.
Seeing Maru’s little confused face like “how do I get to you” hurt my heart but he’s such like a kitten even though he’s all grown up ^_^
The negative flip side of being highly intelligent.
Smart people can over think things, making them more hesitant than ‘doers’.
Case in point: Hana and Maru.
