I don’t know the reason!

Lol this is amazing 😂
How peculiar 🤔😻
i am so early😂 the first time
Loves from Antalya Turkiye
Maru and hana caught in fishing rod first theyre not interested but mugumogu got an idea to play with maru and hana
You may have just stumbled upon and new cat discovery!
Also isn’t it about time to get a third cat? I mean Hana is now as old as Maru was when you got her. If you do get a third cat name him/her “Bi.” You’ll have Maruhana, and Hanabi!
Hahaha what a bizarre and interesting discovery! Love these sweeties! 😁
Pretty strange.
That is so weird! Weird but cute. I don’t know of any other cats to do this. 🤔🤨🧐
I’m always happy to see Maru and Hana, even if they’re both sticking their tongue 👅out at me.
The sound affects their tympanic membrane somehow and they think they have something stuck in their throat…. or something like that. You’ll see the same thing if you strum the teeth of a comb. I don’t think they like it. It’s harmless. Looks pretty funny, though.
The next time I hear something “inconvenient”, I’m going to stick my tongue out too!! 😝😜😝

*EDIT*
Politicians must have their tongues out all the while!!
It’s clear that sound triggers something in their instinctive mind and that results in those tongue movements. I had cats for years and this looks to me like they want to get rid of something in their mouth… but there’s nothing in it. Reminds me of how a cat reacts, eating grass. (?)
Thank you for sharing this peculiar behaviour, Mugumogu. Very interesting and amusing to watch… With me, it certainly triggered some chuckles ! 😻😛👍
This is weird and amazing
Very curious, seriously. I’ve not seen all the Maru/Hana videos, but this reaction suggests something, unknown from the ones I’m familiar with. Hope everything is Okay!
That is weird, most cats would walk away or make some type of noise. Not even a grimace just move their tongues.
probably they both feel like having an insect or something sticky stuck in their mouth.so they might do this kind of thing when they hear the sound.may be if we try with other cats we get to know about this strange thing….anyway maru looks like a baby while playing with the hook😘😘😘😘
“I am careful not to make the sound near them. “
Except when demonstrating for the video 😂
Oh, Goodness, Maru and Hana are so cute.❤️
Quite bizarre reaction. I’m going to try with my cat if I can find something that winds up. I’ll let you know!
New note for all the world is this now! Can do other cat “owners” test this on Youtube as well?
My first thought was that the noise sounded like a cicada! I remember when I was a kid, our family cats used to chase and catch them but didn’t like it when they made that rattling noise
I am wrong! Did not think they can be any more lovable, but this is wonderful!
Definitely something to do with the vibrations of the timpanic membrane and the eustacian tube vibrating the back of the tongue and also possibly making saliva flood in the mouth. Sorry I cannot translate to Japanese. It is a very cute reaction.
Reminds me of humans and screeching chalkboards or knife on plate.
My cat would twitch his whiskers any time I’d make a noise similar to that.
When I was out riding a horse around a field, fenced off from the road, a ten speed bike went by without pedaling and my stallion went straight up in the air, because it sounded like a rattlesnake.
When I was a kid, my cat “Tom” would do this when a cigarette pack was crumpled. A friend had a cat that would do this when keys were rattled. The vet offered the following diagnosis: “that is one crazy cat.”
