This is one of the sadder non tragic ones I have seen. I have never seen a cat cling and scream for someone to take them with them like that.

This was a missed oppurtunity to talk to her. You never said anything to the cat when she was talking (Meowing) to you. How sad, it probably thinks you are rude now.
Calicos are very sweet and friendly. I met one, my neighbor’s cat. She stayed at my house without even going back home for one straight week.
They’re very meticulous how they explore, at the end that cat was like “take me with you!” haha.

I had a torty do this and wouldn’t leave me alone. It woke me up when I was in a hammock and never left after that LOL. She went to be a barn kitty when inter came.

She’s hungry and needs some food Can’t you see? have you ever had a cat before to recognize their behavior ?
As much as I’d like to believe that this is a “stray cat”, it’s clearly not. Just judging off of appearance alone, it’s too clean and too healthy looking to be a street cat. It’s obviously a well fed and well manicured cat; it doesn’t appear to be scrawny or dirty. Secondly, it’s temperament is clearly one of trusting people. Stray cats do not trust strangers, and they certainly wouldn’t virtually ignore a human being in their presence that close to them for so long. If a stray cat decided to interact with a human, it would be to desperately beg for food (which this cat was not doing). It wouldn’t decide to jump in a stranger’s lap just to be pet, especially not knowing anything about the stranger. So, this is not a stray cat! It may be recently abandoned, lost, or just on a stroll away from home, but it’s not a stray. It may not know this particular person, but it certainly knows some people, has interacted regularly with human beings, and those interactions have all been positive for it to be so trusting.

Omg, that poor sweet baby…. she was so happy and excited to see someone that would be sweet to her…. she defiantly is socialized, and hungry…. chances are she had an owner, or she got comfortable with humans, maybe one or a few came to visit her for days or weeks to bring her food, and pats, I would’ve taken her in, she clearly isn’t aggressive, her tail sticks up with excitement and trying to head but is a friendly marking that she sees you as one of her own…. cats are so precious…
