When I went to the port I met a tricolor cat and hachiware-san and when my eyes met, I gladly rolled off the breakwater.

This cat trusts the cat whisperer because it showed its belly.
That calico reminds me so much of my (former) cat Cali, who was 17 1/2 years old when she passed on Jan. 10/16 (the very same day David Bowie sadly left us.) Currently I don’t have any pets – I still miss Cali terribly and really don’t know if I can handle the loss of another “good, sweet girl”. Yet there are so many lonely critters out there, and I know I can do some good by adopting another. The struggle continues – but I feel my resolve weakening – I may just break down and bring another wonderful kitten/cat into my life. And that, My Friends, would be a conflict where everyone would ultimately win.
