My impression is that the cats were pretty ‘meh’ about the whole thing.
Plot twist: domino pieces were put in place by cats, this is how they spend time when home alone. Also a cat is behind the camera, and this YouTube channel is owned by one of the cats. The owner of the apartment is totally unaware of all this.
