My male Abyssinian and female Himalayan act exactly like that.
They are getting along together, but sometime or almost always sudden break comes, and together againn.
Everything is just natural.
So cute the way Hana nestles her face in Maru’s neck floof.
BUT why they’re fighting at the END??? Cats are mystery creatures…
Uh oh, Hana really got mad – rattlesnake tail shake and ears back! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen her genuinely mad, just play fighting. ^..^
Sibling relationships –
Hana: I love you, Maru.
Maru: You’re alright, I guess. Want me to groom you?
A little later….
Maru: You’re taking up to much space! Stay on your side! It’s mine! I was here first!
Hana: You meanie! Gerroff! I’ll bite ya! MMUUUUUMMMM! Maru’s being mean! He won’t share!
Maru: MMUUUUUMMMM!!! Hana’s trying to steal my hammock!
Maru is a character unto himself, but ever since Hana came into the picture, he’s been way better off for it. These two are great together.
I feel sad for cats who live alone without a cat sibling. I know plenty do, and they’re fine, but it’s so much better with two! Then you have a cuddle buddy for life! And a playmate, and a face/ear cleaner!
Hana’s tail tells a tale that is more dangerous than Maru’s tail does. Be careful, Maru! 🙀😼
It looks like Hana starts spreading out and Maru nibbles a little at her back as a warning. Her reaction is I’m not moving , after that all hell brakes lose. Slap in the face, anger because it’s “unfair” and the chase begins. Who is the winner ? Who takes posetion of the hammock ?
