The things Maru does are wonderful and quirky, even for a cat. To see Miri so readily imitate Maru is amazing.
It’s like a cat circus – or summer camp for cats all year long at your house. It’s completely amazing how Kitten Miri has bonded with Maru – he’s like an indulgent, somewhat bored uncle allowing his animated little niece to jump all around him and amuse herself ( 🥱 “I guess I’ll just do a somersault in my plastic sheath and rest here for a while until she calms down.”).

BOL. Miri really loves being with Maru, and lucky enough, Maru is very tolerating, calm and affectionate, that gave Miri the chance to grow up as freely and happily as she can be. Otherwise, she gonna be very stressful, often being ‘watched’ and ‘cornered’. 🤣

Does anyone remember the really old videos of a young Maru doing this manuever between the wall and open door? Mugumogu called it Gap Maru. This was when he was an only child so he learned it on his own and obviously liked doing it. There are several videos in her archives. He may be a bit old to do it behind a door these days but he’s still got the right stuff for a plastic container.
