Hana — always timid, usually gives up early. Miri — nervous, but overcoming it. What an amazing combination she is of the elders’ characteristics. And of course, Himself, always curious, always looking for a solution, finally meets a problem he cannot defeat. But, gosh, it was fun to watch him try!

Little Miri has grown into such a pretty cat.
Miri wiggling her face around as she tries to track the end of the string. These cats are just the best.
Watching Miri’s head bobbing while her mind raced to calculate and recalculate the best angle of attack was quite the sight. Really, the Mugumogu household has much to offer in the way of intellectual stimulation to cats. Maru could start an elite cat academy to pass on his treasure of wisdom to younger generations. 😺
Oh, btw, in Indian mythology, Maruti is the Hindu god of wind! So it is very appropriate that Maru is not cowed by a mere electric fan and is up for any challenge 😀

I love how their head are circling in the same directions as the string, going round and round. And Maru’s whiskers rises and are all spreading out, like being touched on static electric.

I don’t think the cats minded the strong wind from the fan- they were more daunted by that fast moving string. You could see Hana and Miri’s heads move round trying to follow its movements, then they found it too much and backed away from the challenge.
Great fun to watch though.

Haha…I knew Maru wouldn’t be scared, his whiskers looked so funny in the wind. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cat as curious and unafraid of new experiences as Maru. Hana was like, “Nope!”

Maru is such a cool, calm guy compared with those girls. He certainly knows crowd control rules and when to apply them. Good job Maru at keeping the nervous Nellies calm and collected.
