Miri looks like she’s directing the video! “Now, you’re struggling to get your head through the hole, but you’re still cute. Ready? Aaaaannd…action!”

I think Maru is trying to enlarge the hole so he can get his front legs through, and walk about wearing the box as a disguise to confuse Miri and Hana.
Unfortunately the box is way to big to be used as a cat costume! 🤣

Cats purr only when they feel contented. That’s what I know from my experience of having cat companions since childhood though unfortunately I don’t have a cat at present. You cannot MAKE them purr. Cats are genuine beings not pretentious like some humans.

After watching this video someone said Mugumogu is “torturing” Maru simply to get clicks for her videos and for money. They said this multiple times and hinted Miri also may face the same fate. This is taking one’s grievances really too far. Maru trying to put his head through a smaller hole and bitting off the cardboard box may be not pleasant to each and every viewer. Yet, to say that Mugumogu deliberately tortures Maru or Hana or Miri is preposterous.

All of us who watch this channel, any channel, do so on our own accord. No one is forcing anyone to watch these videos. If one doesn’t like the contents of this channel ALL one needs is a single quiet click, to unsubscribe. One doesn’t have to make a GRAND EXIT, hurling vile baseless accusations at a decent human being and making no one else but themselves look utterly ridiculous in the process.

Mugumogu loves her cats. And I truly believe Maru knows this better than anyone who watches or doesn’t watch these videos.

I don’t think that the size of the hole was the issue, it was the placement. Maru prefers a lower hole so he can relax into it comfortably. He knows what he likes, and what he doesn’t. 😍

My husband and I were watching this video again and he had a theory/explanation: The hole, he said, was a tad too high for Maru to put his head through so he could quickly drop to his relaxed or melting pose right afterwards. Maru is smart and he can solve problems like this one. In this case, he chewed off the lower part of the hole so he could then drop into his melting pose right after passing his head through it. Again, Maru is a Genius! ♥♥♥

It seems as Maru gets older he likes the hole larger. In earlier days that size would have been fine. But this just gives an opportunity to see yet another way of Maru being ridiculously cute.

I think this is a great example of giving house cats stimulating activity. Maru had to solve the problem of the hole, then fix it by his own power. Wonderful – – and a sign of a truly loving and imaginative owner. Also very amusing for us!
