Well, it’s obvious that Maru _loves_ the cushion. I’m not sure if that’s the only reason he didn’t get on the scratching board, or if the weight of the board made it too difficult for him to time his jump, though.

Maru has a need to knead a soft comfy cushion. Miri looked really surprised Maru didn’t make it up after a few tries. He doesn’t approve of the scratching board on his swing! He has his standards, after all.😊
Mugumogu, have you tried putting the scratching board on top of the cushion on the swing? 😺 Also maybe lift Maru onto the scratching board swing and see whether Maru stays on it or gets off of it. 😸
I think the scratching post got in the way of Maru getting on the swing. Also, the cushion is softer💖

Maru isnt that young anymore. Although he still can jump over a fridge, his back leg isnt that strong anymore. That board make it difficult for him to jump onto the swing. He also loves the fluffy cushion so much. He doesnt want to ride the swing if it doesnt have a fluffy cushion on it..😁

Maru is getting older so he likes to be very comfortable and relax on fur not a hard scratching board. 😍 He deserves some luxury! ❤️
This just proves that the swing needs a new cushion that every cat likes!
