The ways of Maru are mysterious and beyond the understanding of mere humans.
In my opinion, 0:25 Miri chan was just curious when Maru was in the beer box. Miri chan was just putting her friendly paw on Maru. In that instance, Maru probably went into self defense mode & stretched out both his front paws which maybe to Miri chan she thought he wanted to play with her or was ready to attack her. This triggered Miri chan to “attack” playfully…Just in self defense.. Just love their playful antics. 🙂
No matter what is going on elsewhere in the world, Maru always makes me smile. Such a wonderfully eccentric kitty!
