Suggestion: repeat the game, but with shapes instead of numbers, and they can clearly see the shapes. Try it while moving the cups at normal speed, and moving very fast (so they lose track of the correct cup by movement alone). I’m curious if they only find the food by movement, or they can remember based on other cues.
P.S. Maru learns quickly how to manipulate things by law. Fascinating to see!
