So many choices so little time. Maru wants to reserve his choices. Tub, big bag and box are the big choices and the beer box is a natural even more than one. Miri always expresses her playfulness but Hana wants her dignity more than anything she will only tolerate some cheekiness from big brother Maru and he was known to be smacked occasionally.
I’m not sure Maru “gave” the tub to the beer box. It looks more like the beer box snatched the tub away from Maru! 🙀

One of life’s great dilemmas: when wearing a beer box should you sit in a box or a tub?
What a surprise to see Hana in a beer box! Maru is still trying to synchronize his containers. It seems like he doesn’t want to play favorites so he tries to use them all equally. Miri is getting bold with her sneak attacks.😽

This is now I interpret it: Maru wants his armor. The bear box is upper armor(helmet) the box is lower armor (girding, & leggings). maru wants to wear a FULL armor set (Samurai?) and then snug into the blue tub- in full armor. So he wants the beer box, and the box, and the tub. the helmet falling off was- an unexpected occurance.
Most difficult decision for Maru to make:
choose a cardboard box or a beer box or a blue tub…😂
Maru is brilliant even in older age; he must be the first cat to prove that you CAN put a square peg in a round hole! Therefore, box into bowl 📦 🥣 was a success!
He has also long since proven that you can put a round cat in a square box, also! 🐈 📦😻
