Awww baby Miri was scared of the large box. She may be 2 years old but she is still very tiny and thus she is still a little baby meow meow.

It’s such an enriching pleasure to learn new Japanese customs🎎🎋🎏 as Hinamatsuri so charming! Hina dolls are so luxuriously and traditionally dressed! Maru is proud to be their emperor! and Hanah a bit jealous of their celebrity!😸

Beautiful arrangement!
“Hinamatsuri, also called Doll’s Day or Girls’ Day, is a religious holiday in Japan, celebrated on 3 March of each year. Platforms covered with a red carpet–material are used to display a set of ornamental dolls representing the Emperor, Empress, attendants, and musicians in traditional court dress of the Heian period.” ~ Wikipedia
That doll arrangement is really beautiful — and I love how the cats are sitting on the case at the end, because they know THEY are the real emperor and empresses!
Very interesting to see that they come to check but don’t destroy and knock down every little figurine. To put on the glass is the best idea so at night the Tatars or Huns on four legs don’t finish the job. Very beautiful display for the emperor and empress. Maru putting his paws into the water in the bathroom just shows he is a traditionalist but also flexible to new ideas like fountains.
I love learning about Japan from these videos!
