When I was at my parents lake house with my parents’ cats, Caymus and Murphy, watching Netflix one night, Murphy started to knead on Caymus and make the sounds that Charlie does when Charlie kneads on me. Man, I felt bad for Caymus – Murphy was really getting at it, into Caymus’ abdomen. Couldn’t have felt very good. Does anyone know what this cat behavior is called? Or the meaning of cats kneading (which I know they do because of nursing from their mom)?
