“Hana is put to sleep”? You might want to retitle this video. Might freak a lot of Hana’s fans out because here in America that means something else.

I read “put to sleep” and I was like “no oh” I’m glad Hana is ok.
I got scared! In English “put to sleep” can also mean “euthanized”.

Put to bed is a less alarming translation. Put to sleep is what people say for pet euthanasia. Allowances should be made for non native english users, everyone!
Everyone is so worried about Hana. She look cute filling that small box though.
You may want to change the English title; “put to sleep” is a euphemism for euthanasia.
She’s so cute. I have a tabby named Lillie that looks exactly like Hana! She’s real sweet too.

Edit: I see many others have said the same thing. I hope Maru & Hana’s owners aren’t bothered by so many comments. I’m sure we were all just concerned due to language differences and are coming from a good place. A different title could be “Hana goes to sleep” or “Hana goes to bed”.

Am I the only English speaker who read the title and thought it was about Hana going to bed? I’ve had family cats euphemistically “put to sleep” but that didn’t even occur to me until seeing the comments.

Hana looks like she plays very delicately. She doesn’t hurt her mom. Mom knows Hana well . Like How She will sleep to her relaxing petting. She’s a beautiful cat. No wonder Maru loves her. She’s a loving cat that gives love back. I would live to curl up next to Hana and relax. They look so relaxed. The purring sounds comforting.

I love how at the start of sleep attack she’s still in “beast mode”, while being too tired to actually attack. Watch her neck nod a bit and eyes not being able to decide if they should focus on prey or sleeping 😀
When I was little, I didn’t care for bed time stories. I liked to be stroked to sleep, just like Hana.
After reading a lot of comments I’m thinking Maru’s human has altered the title . I usually find her quirky English just adds to the charm of these brilliant videos.
