抜けたヒゲを集めていたら結構な量になりました。特にまるのは、完全に落ちる前にぶら下がっていることがよくあるので、集めやすいです。はなのヒゲは短いからか、なかなか見つけられず。触った感じは、はなの方が根元が硬くてしっかりしています。I gathered Maru&Hana’s fallen whiskers. There were so many, so I bought whiskers cases.

I have collected whiskers from 11 cats who have lived with me over the past 40 years. Need less to say, I’ve got a lot. So do you know how to tell who the whisker belongs to…if they smell and smell, it’s not theirs…if it belongs to them the cat won’t even waste a smell on it.

I think your fur-balls are exceptional because you have such a wonderful sense of humor and you are so creative. But, most of all your gentle way with them means so much to me. I can see such a change with Miri when you are playing with her. She is trying so hard to be gentle with you. They are all so blessed to have you as their mother!

We collect whiskers like you. Years ago we used to give them to a friend of an Uncle who used them for mounting butterfly wings.
A beautiful cat of mine disappeared. After desperate months of searching, I lay down on the floor weeping. There, stuck in a far corner where I’d missed with the vacuum, was one black whisker. I never found him. That one whisker was all that I had left of him. That was 30 years ago and I still have that whisker, now encased forever in resin. Four cats later, I collect every fallen whisker. Whiskers are treasures. Mugumogu, you make me smile every day… I didn’t ever expect you’d make me cry.

I knew whiskers would be important with these three. Maru’s shed whisker presented to Miri is important to her as she has great affection for him…especially his tail! 😻💙 Miri is becoming the cutest little girl! How could not love her as much as Hana and Maru. 🥰❤️
