So, I found online that Maru means “circle”, but it can also mean perfection, and is usually a name given to something/someone beloved. Knowing that makes his name melt my heart, even if that’s not why you named him that <3

Maru looks so content and super relaxed when he melts. I’ve lived with 17 cats in my life. I never saw any of them melt this way. Maybe it takes a container, so the contents don’t just slide away.
