A waterbed is a great place to sleep when you are a solo cat. Dreaming about a ride in a ship the waves lolling you to sleep. But not so great if somebody walks on your bed and the waves are clashing. Maru is blissfully relaxed.

You have to admire Maru’s approach to summer living: rest in a cool place, have a snack, then go rest again in a cool place. Sounds ideal! 😸

Hana is aggressive with snacks, Miri is very gentle

When Miri was a kitten, she was drinking her milk, eating her nuggets and growling when the others go near her while she was devouring her snack. She treasured her food when she was much younger. Not so much now 😕
Miri is such an adorable tom boy. She is just so set on catching a. bird! She showed read dedication. Hana and Maru are “You are not going to catch a bird!” But Miri is “One day mama we’ll dine one pheasant!”
Yes Mugumogu i will take an order of chilled meat buns thank you. And when he’s eating his snack with those meat buns on mom’s arm, oh my goodness. Maru gets more adorable with age.
