I agree, Hana was showing her affection for that lazy old boy. She just knocked him over, then walked a very short distance, sat down with her back to him and looked away. He could have gotten up and returned the affection (she was giving him permission to get even if he wished), but he didn’t. So I see it as her form of giving him a hug. I’m glad Miri consumed her milk without spilling a drop, since cleaning that from the chair would not be very much fun for any human.
