The hand signal works on my cats too. I really love Maru’s Meat buns.
I think it’s funny that every time it’s like Maru has to think and decide if he really wants to go to the owner to get petted. I tried the hand magic but Maru stayed on the wrong side of the screen. Sigh! I’ll never get to pet that fluffy belly.

Hahaha! We have a similar “silent calling” as your “magic hands”. And, no, it does not work very well with the young ones. The movement means “play time!” to the wee ones, while adults see it as “massage!” and come right away. ❤️ I love Maru’s box mask! He’s such a mush.
