Golden-eyed Miri is quite ferocious with her hisses and growls.
You will never have mouse problems Miri will hunt them all, those she doesn’t catch will warn others of the ferocious feline living in that house.😁

Miri, dear, we hiss and growl to intimidate our foes and make them retreat. Mice are yummy prey. We do not want prey to retreat, we want to catch and eat them. No growling or hissing when we are hunting.

Clever Miri. I think she’s hissing at mousey out of instinct when it’s coming AT her because usually a cat’s prey will freeze or try to escape. Very smart girl.💛
She only hisses when the mouse comes towards her…so she is being a fair hunter “Mousie, run away…I don’t want to hunt you, but keep coming towards me, I have no choice”
