If you go away for a weekend, and leave out feeders for the cats…. you will come home to a GIANT Hana, a sad Maru and a starving little Miri! When it comes to boxes, Maru wins, but FOOD Hana is the champion. Miri is still a baby.

Not only was this a practice session with the feeder, but also an excercise in how far back a cat’s memory goes. In Hana’s case, quite a way apparently.
If I could take a bet, I’d say Hana will be the one who hits the jackpot. Fortunately , our cats have 3 feeders! Good luck, funny Kitties…😺😸😼

win kibbles instead of money, happily !😋💰😸They all prefer home made meals, served carefully by mummy than a robot for sure! 🥰😻
Hana was too funny, watching her shove her paw up inside the feeder trying to get food to drop down. She apparently remembers how this works. And Miri is such an adorable contradiction. Timid in some ways with new things, but so bold when it comes to climbing trees.
I’m always busy but I would make time to watch these three for hours on end.
When it comes to food, all cats have good memories.
Remember the old feeder in which Hana was able to get her small paws inside and release the mechanism so the treats were rushing out. Maru was unsuccessful and he is sitting with his back to this one, I would say he remembers and is sulking a little. Mugu is the most fair cat mommy very concerned that all three kitties gat their share. Miri sat down peacefully and enjoyed her meal. Maru broke mommies heart by liking the plate and was rewarded by a new portion that Hana had eaten faster than anybody. Maru is having a bath at the end so content to had his “rice”, such cute paws in action.
Miri: “Hana Onee-san, what are you doing?”
Hana: “If I do this, food comes out! I _know_ there is food in there!”
Maru: “I’ll just wait. Food will come, eventually.”
Hana: “But… food!”
_machine noises_
Hana: “FOOD!”
Maru: “See, I told you.”
Miri: “Wait, what?”
Miri is so genuinely curious ☺️

That’s a good invention. Before then it was hard times for the vending machine owners, “What candy bar are you getting?”, “That one… and every one on the bottom row!”
