AWWW, Maru was so cute sulking. 😍 I think Miri was sad you weren’t around for awhile so she found a spot to be comfortable till you arrived home. They are all so so sweet. 🥰🤍🖤🤎

Hana is busy stealing from the feeder but doesn’t share with Maru. Maybe the sleeping arrangements haven’t been satisfactory lately. Maru sulking is very cute he knows that at some point food will come out and that Mommy has the key. Putting his head down on the feeder is the only way to prevent Hana from taking it all. Miri decided to take a nap at the window upstairs nothing happening here so I might as well. Very smart Maru knows your voice but thinks why go anywhere is this really necessary. In the blog he catches your hand in the blue tub, does he bite a little. Just a nibble.

Miri reminds of me. When I was a child, I got super happy just by listening to my parents’ incoming footsteps. But once I became an adolescent and got hooked on computer games, not anymore 🤣

Maru is very success-driven. He’s not accepting defeat well at all.
These 3 are always entertaining. Maru doesn’t seem to like to have to do anything to get his dinner.
Several years ago when we only had two cats we had a feeder like that one, Mika and Mikhail learned that that old model would accidentally reset and dispense some food whenever they hit it on the side with enough force (like those older vending machines that people used to kick on the side to glitch the dispensing system back in the early 90s), to the point when we all had to leave to visit a relative in the hospital for a day we came back to find it sideways, with cat food spilled all across the kitchen floor. We thought at first that Mikhail might have knocked it over while running around the house as he was about one year old and overly energetic, specially if there were no humans in the house, but after setting up a camera, we found out that his mom would brute force the feeder into dispensing rather than waiting the IR in the feeder to detect them. Great throwback there, neither are still with us now (both passed away, Mika went some 6 or 7 years ago and Mikhail passed about 3, just a little while after I moved to Japan), back then those automatic dispensers with sensors were so expensive too! But timer based one were just a no-go for cats unless you extensively trained them or made them use it as their exclusive feeding method.
Maru’s thinking…maybe if i use this for a pillow and mom sees how cute im being she’ll never leave me again. Poor guy his meat buns are to fluffy to get food out.
Maru always ALWAYS has such wonderful way of making connection to his world – unique and precious, and it shows! Really love this genius .
Maru-san had more trouble than Hana getting pieces out of the feeder because of his larger meat buns! Miri was patient to wait but Hana is very food motivated. 😊❤️💕🍗🍤
