Maru is a philosopher first of all. He doesn’t complain nor explain he knows by ignoring Miri’s attempt to squeeze him out she will give up eventually. She very carefully steps on him with her featherweight and he opens his mouth to try to nibble on her exposed underbelly. They challenge each other and this kind of play is great to watch and for them to enjoy.
